Education:
    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering, Fashion Designing, Industrial Engineering
  • Training in Garments Product Development, Pattern Making, Sample Management, or Lean Manufacturing preferred.

Skills Required: Sample Development

Additional Requirements:
  • Age At least 35 years
  • Should have experience in Knit pattern making, quality control / audit, basics on printing, embroidery and washing.

  • Must have experienced in Knit garments.

  • Take responsibility for sample quality, construction, and measurements.

  • Regularly evaluate and streamline sample development processes to increase efficiency and productivity.

  • Conduct In-line Audit, an in-process audit in sewing, finishing, and packing.

  • Expertise in pattern, fitting, measurement, and technical interpretation.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end sample development operations.

  • Ensure timely development and submission of all types of garments samples as per buyer requirements.

  • Coordinate with Merchandising, CAD, Cutting, Sewing, IE, and Quality teams for smooth sample execution.

  • Monitor sample planning, allocation, and production scheduling to meet deadlines.

  • Ensure sample quality, workmanship, fitting, and measurement accuracy according to buyer specifications.

  • Review technical sheets, artworks, trims, and construction details before sample execution.

  • Monitor pattern development, marker efficiency, and sample consumption analysis.

  • Conduct fit analysis and ensure corrective actions based on buyer comments.

  • Ensure proper maintenance of sample records, buyer comments, and approval status.

  • Coordinate with sourcing and store teams for timely availability of trims, accessories, and fabrics for sample development.

  • Support product development and innovation initiatives based on buyer trends and market demands.

  • Monitor sample room efficiency, productivity, and operational performance.

  • Lead and develop sample team members through coaching and technical guidance.

  • Ensure implementation of SOPs, quality standards, workplace discipline, and 5S practices.

  • Support buyer visits, sample presentations, and technical discussions.

  • Analyze sample rejection causes and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Prepare sample-related reports, MIS, and management updates regularly.
