Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Merchandiser (Woven) who can handle orders from start to finish—starting from buyer communication and sample development to production follow-up and final shipment. The role involves working closely with different teams to ensure products are made correctly, delivered on time, and meet buyer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Handle the complete merchandising process for woven garments from order inquiry to shipment.

·       Communicate and coordinate effectively with buyers regarding product development, order confirmation, and production updates.

·       Analyze tech packs, buyer requirements, and ensure accurate costing and price negotiations.

·       Coordinate with sourcing, product development, sample, production, quality, and commercial teams to ensure timely execution of orders.

·       Monitor sampling activities and ensure samples are developed and submitted within the required timeline.

·       Follow up on raw material sourcing, trims, and accessories to ensure on-time availability.

·       Prepare and maintain Time and Action (T&A) plans and monitor order progress accordingly.

·       Conduct order feasibility analysis and capacity planning in collaboration with production teams.

·       Track production status regularly and take corrective actions to resolve any delays or issues.

·       Ensure compliance with buyer standards, quality requirements, and shipment schedules.

·       Coordinate with the commercial and logistics teams to ensure timely shipment documentation and dispatch.

·       Maintain strong relationships with buyers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

·       Prepare merchandising reports, order status reports, and management updates.

·       Lead, mentor, and guide junior merchandisers and merchandising executives.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Merchandising, Business Administration or any relevant discipline.

Requirements:

·       Minimum 6–8 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in woven garments.

·       Experience working with reputed export-oriented garment manufacturing companies is highly preferred.

Additional Requirements:

·       Strong knowledge of woven garments, fabrics, trims, wash and finishing processes.

·       Sound understanding of costing, consumption, and order execution.

·       Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

·       Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and merchandising-related software.

·       Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.

·       Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
