Responsibilities & Context:
Manage the complete merchandising cycle for woven garments from order inquiry to final shipment.
Maintain effective communication with international buyers regarding product development, costing, order confirmation, production status, and shipment schedules.
Prepare accurate costing, price negotiations, and order execution plans.
Coordinate with sourcing, product development, production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
Monitor sample development, approvals, trims, fabrics, and accessories procurement.
Analyze production capacity and ensure smooth order allocation.
Track critical path activities and proactively resolve issues affecting delivery timelines.
Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, quality standards, and company policies.
Develop strong relationships with buyers, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
Lead, mentor, and develop merchandising team members to achieve departmental goals.
Prepare merchandising reports and provide regular updates to management.
