Education:
    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
  • Certification in Industrial Engineering (IE) or Lean Manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities & Context:
  • Monitor sewing operators and helpers to ensure smooth workflow, balance manpower across lines, and maintain discipline and productivity.

  • Track hourly and daily output, compare against planned targets, and take corrective actions to minimize shortfall.

  • Conduct inline inspections, identify defects, and coordinate with the quality team to resolve stitching, finishing, or measurement issues.

  • Align fabric input readiness from cutting and ensure timely handover of sewn garments to finishing for delivery schedules.

  • Record operator performance, provide feedback, and recommend training or skill upgrades to improve efficiency.

  • Update daily production status, operator efficiency, and WIP (Work in Progress) in ERP systems for accurate reporting.

  • Ensure operators follow workplace safety rules, machine handling protocols, and labor compliance standards.

  • Quickly address machine breakdowns, manpower shortages, or quality challenges, escalating unresolved issues to supervisors or managers.

  • Work closely with Merchandising, Planning, HR, and Maintenance to align manpower, order details, shipment timelines, and machine readiness.

  • Prepare and submit daily production reports to line managers, highlighting achievements, challenges, and corrective measures taken.
