Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
• Diploma in Mechanical

• Technical certification in sewing machine maintenance will be an added advantage.

• Training in Industrial Sewing Machine Maintenance, TPM, Industrial Engineering, or Preventive Maintenance preferred.

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

• Age At least 25 years

• Understanding of RMG production processes and machine operations.

• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and breakdown analysis.

• Analytical and problem-solving capability.

• Communication and coordination skills.

• Reporting and documentation capability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain sewing machines and related RMG production equipment regularly.

• Ensure preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities are conducted effectively.

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues of sewing machines and ensure quick breakdown resolution.

• Coordinate with Production and IE teams to minimize machine downtime and production interruptions.

• Ensure smooth operation of various sewing machines including lock stitch, overlock, flatlock, bartack, button attach, buttonhole, and specialized machines.

• Monitor machine performance, efficiency, and maintenance requirements regularly.

• Conduct machine inspection and calibration to ensure operational accuracy and sewing quality.

• Maintain maintenance schedules, machine history cards, and engineering records accurately.

• Ensure availability of critical spare parts and maintenance tools.

• Support installation, setup, relocation, and commissioning of sewing machines.

• Train operators and junior technicians regarding basic machine handling and maintenance awareness.

• Ensure compliance with engineering SOPs, workplace safety, and maintenance procedures.

• Monitor energy efficiency and support maintenance cost reduction initiatives.

• Prepare maintenance reports, downtime analysis, and engineering MIS updates.

• Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and 5S implementation within maintenance operations.
