Responsibilities & Context:
Monitor factory compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, Bangladesh Labor Rules, and buyer Codes of Conduct.
Coordinate and prepare the factory for buyer, third-party, and certification audits.
Maintain all compliance-related documents, records, policies, and legal registers.
Conduct regular internal compliance inspections and identify non-conformities.
Prepare corrective action plans (CAPA) and follow up on timely implementation.
Monitor working conditions, occupational health and safety (OHS), fire safety, environmental compliance, and worker welfare.
Coordinate with different departments to ensure continuous compliance improvement.
Conduct employee orientation and awareness training on compliance, labor rights, workplace safety, harassment prevention, and company policies.
Ensure all statutory licenses, certificates, and legal documents remain valid and updated.
Assist in investigations related to worker grievances and compliance issues.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly compliance reports for management.
Liaise with government authorities, auditors, buyers, and certification bodies when required.
Support sustainability and ESG-related initiatives as assigned by management.
