Responsibilities & Context:

· Implement and maintain fire safety plans & design drawing conforming to Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), NFPA standards, RSC (Accord) & Nirapon (Alliance) and FSCD (Fire Service and Civil Defense) requirements.

· Sound Knowledge of SLD & LPS related work activities

· Electrical maintenance & installation work activities.  

·Ensure fire safety license from FSCD & handle FSCD as your own capacity.

· Conduct internal & external fire drill & training as per law & buyer requirements. Prepare Fire safety emergency response plan as per requirement of buyer & local law.

·         Should have a vast knowledge of fire safety management, protection, RSC (Accord) & Nirapon (Alliance) & local law requirements to ensure fire safety in the garments and others manufacturing industry.

·To be handled according to RSC (Accord) & Nirapon (Alliance) and general fire safety, detection & protection System as required & faced all type of buyer , RSC & Nirapon audit.

·Handle RSC safety committee meeting as per RSC requirements.

·Must be well familiar to set up and following up firefighting equipment as per buyer and government requirements and Fire Prevention local law & RSC regulations.

·Prepare & updated all kinds of fire safety documents as per buyer & law requirements.

·Must be well familiar to set up and follow up firefighting equipment as per buyer and government requirements and Fire Prevention local law & RSC regulations.

· Daily check Fire safety detection & protection system activity & ensure regular activeness.

·Set up with  an in-house strong firefighting and rescue team in all the departments as per law requirements.  

·Complete daily fire round / floor visit & ensure firefighting equipment and follow up daily checklist activities, firefighting dress & firefighting equipment’s cleanliness.   

·Ensure all portable fire extinguishers are inspected, serviced, refilled and properly tagged

·Ensure fire alarm system, smoke & heat Detectors, Fire hydrant system, fire pump, Sprinkler system & portable fire extinguisher are active on regular basis.

·Identify potential hazards, especially in high-risk areas like generators, boilers, and fabric storage.

·Develop and update all the safety & security system to maintain a safe work environment in the factory.

·Any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
