Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering, Supply Chain Management

• Age At least 24 years

• Certification in Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Inventory Control, or ERP Systems preferred.
• Training on 5S, Lean Warehouse, or Kaizen will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse/material control preferably in the RMG industry.
• Experience with ERP/Oracle system is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material flow.
• Excellent data accuracy, documentation, and numeric skills.
• Ability to supervise teams and manage high-volume warehouse activities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/Oracle, and warehouse reporting tools.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Monitor the receipt, inspection, storage, issuance, and movement of finished fabrics and production materials.

• Ensure timely allocation of finished fabrics according to approved production plans and cutting schedules.

• Maintain accurate material inventory records through ERP and MCD systems.

• Coordinate with Fabric Warehouse, Planning, Cutting, Production, IE, Finishing, and Merchandising departments for smooth material flow.

• Monitor fabric consumption against approved consumption standards and identify variances.

• Perform daily reconciliation of issued, consumed, returned, and balance materials.

• Ensure fabric roll traceability, lot control, shade segregation, and buyer-specific identification throughout production.

• Monitor material shortages, excesses, damages, and discrepancies and initiate corrective actions.

• Prepare daily fabric issue reports, material movement reports, stock reconciliation reports, and departmental MIS.

• Conduct physical inventory verification and cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy.

• Ensure proper handling of fabric remnants, leftover rolls, rejected materials, and surplus inventory.

• Coordinate with Quality Assurance for inspection and disposition of non-conforming materials.

• Monitor production material utilization to minimize wastage and improve operational efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO principles and company inventory management policies.

• Support production planning by providing accurate material availability status.

• Coordinate inter-departmental material transfers and ensure proper documentation.

• Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis for material variances.

• Assist in buyer audits, compliance audits, and internal inventory audits.

• Ensure proper maintenance of material records, stock registers, and traceability documentation.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control, material handling, and warehouse efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and inventory control procedures.

• Ensure fast act react approach in resolving material shortages, urgent production requirements, and inventory discrepancies.
