Responsibilities & Context:

• Plan, organize, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.

• Ensure achievement of production targets.

• Optimize machine utilization and manpower productivity.

• Ensure smooth operation of: Induction Furnace / Melting Section, Continuous Casting Machine (CCM), Rolling Mill Operations, Cooling Bed & Finishing Area, Raw Material Handling, Billet Dispatch & Re-Bar Loading

• Monitor plant performance and identify operational bottlenecks.

• Maintain discipline and operational standards inside the factory premises.

• Ensure products comply with company quality standards and of external authorities like BSTI and others.

• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Maintenance departments for preventive and breakdown maintenance.

• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery when required.

• Implement workplace health and safety practices throughout production areas.

• Maintain proper communication between shifts and departments.

• Handle operational issues, workforce discipline, and emergency situations effectively.

• Prepare and submit: Daily Production Reports, Shift Reports, Downtime Analysis, Yield & Consumption Reports, Production MIS Reports, Maintain production records and operational documentation.

• Provide production forecasts and operational recommendations to management.
