Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related discipline.

• Training in logistics, transport management, or supply chain operations will be preferred.

• Strong understanding of transportation and logistics operations.

• Knowledge of supply chain and shipment coordination processes.

• Communication and vendor management skills.

• Problem-solving and coordination capability.

• Data analysis and reporting skills (MIS/Excel).

• Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent deliveries.

• Organizational and multitasking capability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate transportation of raw materials, trims, accessories, and finished goods.

• Arrange vehicles for factory delivery, inter-unit transfer, and shipment activities.

• Communicate with transport vendors, freight providers, and logistics partners.

• Ensure timely delivery and dispatch as per production and shipment schedules.

• Monitor transport status and resolve transportation-related delays/issues.

• Maintain transport records, delivery challans, gate passes, and logistics documentation.

• Track transportation costs and support cost optimization initiatives.

• Coordinate with Commercial, Store, Planning, Production, and MCD departments.

• Ensure proper loading/unloading coordination and delivery compliance.

• Monitor vehicle utilization and transport service efficiency.

• Maintain transport MIS reports and daily logistics updates.

• Support shipment planning and export/import logistics coordination.

• Ensure compliance with company transport policies and safety procedures.

• Assist in handling emergency transport requirements and urgent deliveries.

• Build and maintain good relationships with transport vendors and stakeholders.
