Responsibilities & Context:
1. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices and documentation;
2. Checking and verifying overall procurement process, sales orders, collections, delivery, pending DO, product return adjustment notes and ensuring their chronological cycle smoothly;
3. Visiting plants, warehouses and markets as per requirement and submitting reports accordingly;
4. Identifying risk factors and additional cost components and prescribing practices to eliminate them;
5. Monitoring operational procedures, departmental budget and identifying pitfalls, resource wastage and miscalculations according to Bangladesh Standards on Auditing (BAS);
6. Checking TA/DA bills, Branding/promotional activities bills etc. and their adjustment process;
7. Checking and verifying financial statements to ensure their accuracy, consistency and adherence to the BAS/BFRS/BSA.
