Additional Requirements:

  • Must have work experience on woven based garments.

  • 3 to 4 years of progressive experience in Industrial Engineering, specifically within woven garment manufacturing (bottoms preferred).

  • Deep expertise in Line Balancing, Time Study, SMV Calculation, and implementation of Lean tools.

  • Strong analytical aptitude, excellent coordination skills, and a proven ability to train and motivate production staff.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

We are seeking a results-oriented Executive - Industrial Engineer to manage all industrial engineering functions, optimise production efficiency, and reduce manufacturing costs in our woven bottom unit.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily Line Balancing and maintain a monthly Skill Matrix for all workers to maximize Line efficiency. Assist supervisors with line adjustments during periods of operator absence.

  • Perform Time Studies, Production & Capacity Studies, and finalize SMV and Operation Bulletins for all styles.

  • Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies; design and implement process improvements using Lean tools (5S, Kaizen).

  • Monitor hourly production, prepare line plans/schedules, and ensure optimal use of resources (manpower, machinery, materials).

  • Minimize Non-Productive Time (NPT) and reduce Non-Value-Added processes to support cost control and material wastage reduction.

  • Prepare operation breakdown, machine layout, and necessary machine arrangements.

  • Analyzing production processes to identify inefficiencies.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret production data; prepare Non-Balancing & Balancing graphs.

  • Conduct operator grading, competence assessments, and train staff on efficient work methods. Monitor low-efficiency operators for improvement.

  • Work on skill assessments during hiring, and oversee the Production Operator Skill Assessment Program.

  • Coordinate effectively with Production, Quality, Merchandising, and Management teams.
