∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry Environmental Science, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science, preferably from a public university.

Job Context:
∎ Nice Cotton Limited Ltd. is a 100% export oriented Yarn Dyeing factory (Largest Yarn Dyeing Factory in Bangladesh), located at South Panishail, Kashimpur, Gazipur, looking for potential candidates as Executive (ECR, HR & Compliance focused on EMS).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Evaluation, Monitoring & ensuring overall environmental & chemical requirements of the factory as per environmental, chemical & buyer rules & regulations.
∎ Set short-term/long-term objectives & targets for continual improvement of environmental performance.
∎ Analyze the environmental aspect & impact & take mitigation measures for significant aspects & impacts.
∎ Work in HIGG FEM, BHIVE, GTW & CFW, AWS, RCS, GRS, OCS, GOTS, OEKOTEX 100.
∎ Maintain buyer's chemical management program, water management program, environmental management program & waste management program.
∎ Prepare Energy, waste, water & other consumption Records as per audit requirements.
∎ Prepare chemical inventory, and waste inventory as per buyer's requirements.
∎ Collect SDS, TDS, Test Report & RSL/MRSL declaration letter from chemical supplier & provide to the concerned department and follow APEO/AP/AZO/FORMALDEHYDE guidelines.
∎ Conduct all chemical & environmental training as per audit requirements.
∎ Conduct Environmental and chemical Risk Assessments and deal with related Corrective Action Plans (CAP).
∎ Coordinate with 3rd party regarding chemical testing, wastewater testing, Calibration & environmental assessment as per respective guidelines (ZDHC, RSL/MRSL, HIGG FEM).
∎ ETP & Wastewater Monitoring.
∎ Ensure discharge water as per environmental quality standards.
∎ Dyes Chemical Inventory.
∎ Responsible for all kinds of Social and environmental audits.
∎ To conduct training/awareness on a regular basis.
∎ Ensure EMS & ECR activities are properly managed within the desirable timeframe.
∎ To keep tracking and updating all types of environment-related legal documents.
∎ Have to ensure required floor compliance in the factory premises implemented as per buyer code of conduct and local Law.
∎ Maintain and implement environmental, and chemical standards as, the Higg Index, ECR-1997.
∎ Any other task assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in working in Environmental and Chemical Compliance in any reputed Yarn Dyeing factory as the Environmental and chemical Responsible (ECR).
∎ Working experience in working with Primark, GAP, Inditex & H&M Buyer will be considered an added advantage
∎ Should have good communication skills both in Bangla and English, and must be a team player with a pleasant personality.
