Education:

• Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering

• Age 22 to 27 years

• Being pro-active engaged and motivated to contribute and learn

• Good command of MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Good language skills in Bangla in oral and written form to express complex conditions

• Good language skills in English in oral and written form

• Working knowledge of internet-based desk research

• Independent, highly motivated team member who is willing to learn with and from different groups

• Familiarity with thematic issues such as On grid solar, relevant  application software’s.

Global Renewable Bangladesh Ltd. (GREL)is currently seeking applications from candidates for the position of “Intern”.The Intern is responsible for the following tasks:-         

• Participating in the initial stages of a project, including feasibility studies, site assessments, and cost estimation

• Designing solar energy systems, including solar photovoltaic (PV) arrays and solar thermal systems, to meet the specific energy needs of clients or projects

• Conducting feasibility studies to assess the viability of solar energy projects, considering factors such as cost-benefit analysis, site suitability, and potential environmental impacts

• Estimating project costs, preparing budgets, and tracking expenses throughout the process

• Selecting appropriate solar technologies and components, such as solar panels, inverters, batteries (for storage systems), and mounting structures, to optimize system performance and efficiency

• Estimating the expected energy production of solar systems based on the design and local climate conditions

• Overseeing the installation process of solar systems, ensuring that all components are properly connected and functioning correctly

• Developing maintenance plans and conducting regular inspections to ensure the ongoing reliability and efficiency of solar systems

• Prepare effective proposals and presentations

• Prepare reports, documents as required by the company

• Assist in daily tasks and projects within assigned department and gaining practical knowledge

• Any other assigned jobs by supervisor.
