Responsibilities & Context:
Design, review, and supervise electrical systems for building projects.
Prepare and review electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, schematics, load schedules, and related drawings.
Review electrical designs to ensure functionality, safety, efficiency, and compliance.
Coordinate electrical works with civil, architectural, plumbing, HVAC, and other MEP disciplines.
Supervise electrical installation and ensure work follows approved drawings and specifications.
Conduct load calculations, cable sizing, circuit design, voltage-drop calculations, and other engineering calculations.
Inspect electrical materials and equipment for compliance with project specifications.
Identify electrical faults and provide appropriate technical solutions.
Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely completion.
Assist in preparing BOQs, material estimates, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
Maintain proper project documentation, inspection reports, and technical records.
Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, building regulations, safety standards, and project requirements.
Provide technical support to the construction and project management teams.
