Skills Required:
Additional Requirements:
- Experience in handling workplace injuries and emergency medical situations.
- Sound understanding of labour law health provisions and compliance requirements.
- Good documentation and reporting skills for audits and inspections.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with workers, management, and auditors.
- High sense of responsibility, ethics, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Provide primary medical care and treatment to factory employees and staff.
- Conduct daily OPD services within the factory medical center.
- Handle workplace injuries, accidents, and medical emergencies promptly.
- Monitor occupational health risks and ensure preventive healthcare measures.
- Conduct pre-employment and periodic medical check-ups of workers.
- Maintain proper medical records, treatment registers, and health reports as per compliance requirements.
- Advise management on workplace health, hygiene, and safety improvements.
- Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law, buyer compliance standards, and factory health regulations.
- Coordinate with HR, Compliance, and Safety departments regarding employee health issues.
- Refer serious or critical cases to external hospitals when necessary.
- Conduct health awareness programs on hygiene, nutrition, maternal health, and disease prevention.
- Monitor medicine stock, first aid supplies, and medical equipment in the factory clinic.
- Prepare health-related reports for audits, inspections, and buyer visits.
- Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and instructions from Management.
- Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by management as required.
