Requirements:

∎ Experienced in working in a similar role of any woven garments manufacturing unit or washing plant.
∎ Strong understanding of global fashion trends, buyer standards, and testing protocols.
∎ In-depth technical knowledge of washing and finishing processes on denim or non denim woven fabric.
∎ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
∎ Ability to handle pressure and take proactive decisions.
∎ Experienced in working in a similar role of any woven garments manufacturing unit or washing plant.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the research, development, and optimization of washing techniques for denim and non-denim garments.
∎ Lead the creation of innovative washing techniques and effects.
∎ Develop seasonal wash collections in line with global trends, buyer demands, and fashion forecasts.
∎ Prepare accurate wash recipes including chemical dosage, machine parameters, and process steps.
∎ Communicate directly with buyers and design teams regarding wash briefs and development status.
∎ Ensure detailed records of all recipes, formulations, testing results, and approvals being kept.
∎ Prepare reports for senior management on R&D progress, including timelines, costs, and results of new wash developments.
∎ Train, lead, and manage the R&D wash team, technologists, and support staff
∎ Any other task assigned by management as and when required.
