Responsibilities & Context:

  • Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to meet customer demand and delivery schedules.

  • Monitor and control production activities to ensure optimal utilization of manpower and machinery based on man-machine mapping.

  • Analyze production costs and implement strategies to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and control overheads.

  • Monitor material consumption, energy usage, and labor productivity to ensure cost-effective operations.

  • Continuously evaluate production capacity and identify opportunities to increase output without compromising quality or safety.

  • Align production targets with available resources and implement shift planning to maximize throughput.

  • Ensure all LPG cylinders meet national and international quality and safety standards (e.g., ISO, PESO, BDS and DOT 4B A).

  • Collaborate with the Quality Control team to address non-conformities and implement corrective actions.

  • Lead process safety and H&S programs in production and drive a zero-harm culture through proactive incident reporting.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle time.

  • Introduce lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S and Lean Six Sigma).

  • Lead, train, and motivate production staff to achieve performance targets.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork.

  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.

  • Promote a zero-incident safety culture across the production floor.

  • Coordinate with the supply chain and store departments to ensure the availability of raw materials and components.

  • Monitor equipment and machinery performance; coordinate preventive maintenance with the engineering team.

  • Maintain accurate production records, reports, and KPIs.

  • Present regular updates to senior management on production performance, cost trends, and improvement plans.

  • Collaborate with departments such as Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, and Customer to ensure seamless operations.

  • Participate in customer audits and support technical discussions when required.

  • Execute other responsibilities delegated by management that are relevant to the employee’s role, aligned with business priorities, and consistent with compliance and accountability standards
