Education:

Education: Bachelor in Engineering (BSC Engineering) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.

Experience: At least 5-8 Years relevant experience is highly required in renowned Diagnostic, Hospital, Medical College or Pharmaceuticals.

Auto CAD, Electrical Software, PLCs.

Familiarity with building automation and low voltage system.

Experience with various PLC brands will get preference.

Installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of Bio-mechanical equipment will get preference.



Responsibilities & Context:
  •  Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and system changes. 

     Work with cross-functional teams, including hospital staff, maintenance technicians and operators, to implement and optimize systems.

     Liaise with other engineers on implementation and project handover. 

     Design and review electrical systems for Medical equipment and plant utilities.

     Prepare single-line diagrams, load calculations, cable schedules, and equipment specifications.

     Select and size motors, transformers, MCC panels, switchgear, VFDs, and control systems.

     Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.

     Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for motors, panels, generators, and power systems.

     Respond to plant breakdowns and coordinate timely repairs to reduce downtime.

     Manage medium and low-voltage distribution systems.

     Ensure safe operation and synchronization of generators, UPS, and backup power systems.

     Configure and maintain PLC, SCADA, and automation control systems (if applicable).

     Supervise electromechanical installation activities at ongoing healthcare facilities.

     Coordinate & supervise with mechanical, civil, plumbing, Bio-medical and production teams to support project execution.

     Review and approve contractor drawings, material submittals, and work methods.

     Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and electrical codes (IEC, NEC, OSHA).

     Conduct risk assessments and enforce lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures.

     Maintain maintenance logs, inspection reports, test data, and equipment history records.

     Perform testing and commissioning of new electromechanical systems and machinery.

     Inspect electromechanical equipment performance and efficiency.

     Identify root causes of electrical failures and recommend improvements.
