With at least 5 years in a senior leadership or “Head of HR/Admin” role, preferably in healthcare, or complex service organisations.
Advanced knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Laws, employment compliance, HR planning, workforce optimisation, and the full employee lifecycle management.
Proven ability to lead diverse teams, drive organisational development, and build leadership capacity across all levels of the institution.
Strong capability in policy implementation, cross-functional coordination, and operational oversight within a complex, service-based organisation.
Practical experience in institutional security oversight, risk assessment, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively across clinical, administrative, and senior management levels.
High ethical standards, impartiality, confidentiality, and strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented demeanour.
Willingness to travel occasionally for institutional coordination or training, and availability on-call during security incidents, emergencies, or critical HR matters.
Commercial and operational awareness in a hospital or large service-based organisation.
• Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, strategies, and change management initiatives aligned with AWCH's organisational goals.
• Institutionalise KRAs and Performance Management Systems; ensure updated job descriptions and role clarity across all departments.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle — recruitment, onboarding, appraisal, disciplinary actions, and exit management — in compliance with policy and law.
• Advise senior management on compensation, benefits, workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational development.
• Foster a respectful, safe, and inclusive workplace culture, ensuring effective clinician–management coordination.
• Execute and monitor administrative policies, procedures, and systems as approved by management.
• Oversee non-clinical functions including facilities, transport, logistics, vendor coordination, and asset management.
• Review and authorise administrative bills, documentation, and interdepartmental correspondence within the delegation of authority.
• Coordinate with department heads to ensure seamless administrative support without encroaching on clinical decision-making.
• Develop, implement, and periodically review Fire, Safety, and Security SOPs within an integrated institutional security framework.
• Conduct security risk assessments and safety audits; provide strategic oversight of daily security operations and continuous system improvement.
• Lead investigation and management of security incidents and emergencies, ensuring proper documentation, follow-up, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive a culture of security awareness through regular training, drills, and staff communication.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, and regulatory authorities; prepare and present risk reports and policy recommendations to senior management.
• Manage the security budget, resource planning, and performance oversight of security personnel and service providers.
