Additional Requirements:
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management/ Master of any reported university.

  • PGDHRM or any HR-related training will be an added advantage.

  • 5-7 years of experience in HR & Payroll in Knit Dyeing & knit composite factories.

  • Practical experience with payroll software and MS Excel.

  • Familiar with local labor laws, BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX, and other compliance standards.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Empathetic and approachable demeanor.

  • Sound knowledge of employee welfare practices and labor rights.

  • Problem-solving attitude with strong documentation ability.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context 

We are looking for a dynamic talent who will be the responsible in an Asst. Manager / Deputy Manager – Human Resource in a Knit Dyeing Factory.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Payroll & Compensation Management

  • Prepare and process monthly salary, overtime, allowances, and all compensation-related Bills for Head Office and has to audit and look after factory Payroll.

  • Verify attendance, leaves, production data and other inputs required for accurate payroll processing.

  • Prepare and execute Final Settlement (FNF) for resigned/terminated employees, ensuring accurate calculation of notice pay, EL encashment, outstanding dues, and statutory benefits.

  • Ensure timely disbursement of salary and compliance with legal requirements.

  • Review and validate all HR-related monthly payments, including benefits, festival bonuses, incentives, and final settlements.

  • Coordinate with Finance to reconcile salary sheets, overtime reports, and other payroll documents

 

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Prepare and issue all HR letters including Appointment Letters, Confirmation Letters, Promotion Letters, Increment Letters and Separation Letters

  • Visit the factory at least twice in a day report to Head of HR.

  • Oversee daily HR operations at factory level and ensure smooth service delivery.

  • Ensure HR practices are aligned with Bangladesh Labor law 2006, Amendments, and Labor Rules 2015.

  • Maintain employee personal files, contracts, ID cards, and related documentation.

  • Execute disciplinary procedures, warning letters, and grievance handling in line with company policy with labor law.

  • Support compliance audits, especially HR-related sections of BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ICS, ACCORD/RSC, Better Work, etc.

Recruitment

  • Assist in manpower planning and recruitment for factory and liaison office.

  • Conduct screening, interviews and selection in coordination with hiring managers.

  • Oversee onboarding, orientation and new employee induction.

Employee Relation

  • Maintain a positive working environment and support employee engagement initiatives.

  • Handle employee queries, conflicts, and grievances professionally.

  • Build strong communication between management and factory workforce.

 

Performance Management

  • Support the implementation of KPIs, performance appraisal systems and evaluations.

  • Track probation evaluations and ensure timely confirmation or extension processes.

 

Reporting and HR Analysis

  • Prepare daily and monthly HR reports, absenteeism reports, HR cost summaries, and manpower status.

  • Analyze HR metrics and provide recommendations to improve efficiency.

  • Provide superior and management with timely and accurate data for decision-making.

  • Any other task assigned by Head of HR and Management.

  • Promote hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in the workplace.
