Responsibilities & Context:

We are a 100% export-oriented renowned Denim Garments Manufacturing Company looking for a responsible and energetic Nurse (Factory) to provide basic medical support to workers and staff, manage medical records and medicines, and handle workplace injuries and routine health needs.

• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, factory regulations, buyer requirements, and international standards.

• Monitor compliance with BSCI, SEDEX/SMETA, WRAP, CTPAT and other applicable standards.

• Conduct regular factory compliance inspections and identify non-compliance issues.

• Monitor working hours, wages, overtime, leave, attendance, benefits, and employment practices.

• Ensure proper implementation of policies related to child labor, forced labor, discrimination, harassment, and workplace conduct.

• Maintain proper employee documentation and statutory records.

• Coordinate and support buyer, third-party, social, technical, and government audits.

• Prepare required documents and evidence for audits.

• Identify compliance gaps and prepare Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).

• Coordinate with HR, Admin, Production, Safety, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve findings.

• Monitor workplace health and safety conditions.

• Ensure proper implementation of fire safety, emergency preparedness, PPE, first aid, and occupational health requirements.

• Coordinate with relevant committees such as Health & Safety, Anti-Harassment, and Participation Committees.

• Maintain compliance-related records, registers, licenses, certificates, policies, and reports.
