Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, or Military Staff College graduate (pSc). A Post-Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management (PGDPM/PGDHRM) or Master's in HRM is highly desirable.
Military Service Background: Retired Bangladesh Army Officer holding the rank of Major, Lieutenant Colonel, or Colonel (Honorable Discharge).
Experience in garments factory will preferred.
Only army person. Minimum requirement has to be major or above ranked.
Corporate Experience: 2+ years of corporate HR/IR experience post-retirement (preferably in the garment/textile/RMG industry in Bangladesh) is preferred. Direct retirees with exceptional leadership drive will also be evaluated.
Core Skills & Technical Knowledge:
Thorough understanding of the Bangladesh Labour Law 2006 (and Rules 2015) and international RMG buyer codes of conduct.
Fluent in both Bangla (fluent command for floor-level management) and English (for buyer communication and corporate reporting).
Strong crisis resolution, grievance handling, and negotiation capabilities.
Command-driven yet empathetic leadership style suited for large-scale floor worker management.

Job Responsibilities:
Recruitment, Hiring & Firing.
Oversee daily HR operations for a high-volume manufacturing facility, supporting a workforce of thousands across cutting, sewing, finishing, and admin units.
Manage worker welfare programs, worker participation committees (WPC), and retention initiatives to foster floor morale.
Act as the primary lead for Industrial Relations (IR); prevent labor disputes, manage union or floor grievances, and handle conflict constructively.
Enforce facility regulations, attendance systems, and codes of conduct in full accordance with the Bangladesh Labour Act 2006 (Amended) and internal company policies.
Ensure 100% compliance with local labor laws, Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE) regulations, and BGMEA/BKMEA standards.
Direct buyer social and technical audits (e.g., RSC, BSCI, SMETA, WRAP) and manage corrective action plans (CAPs).
Drive plant-wide Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, fire safety protocols, and structural safety guidelines.
Supervise factory security teams, access control systems, and visitor management.
Establish robust crisis mitigation protocols to manage emergency situations, plant disruptions, or unannounced labor disruptions.
Oversee transport, canteen, medical center, and childcare facilities as mandated by national regulations.
Manage recruitment drives for supervisors, technical staff, floor operators, and admin personnel to hit line-efficiency targets.
