• Good understanding of plastic materials and product quality.

• Strong leadership, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.

Job Context:

Fresh Polymer and Paints Limited (FPPL), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), is setting up a modern and diversified polymer manufacturing facility at the Comilla Economic Zone, Bangladesh. The facility will manufacture a wide range of high-quality polymer and plastic products, including uPVC, cPVC, HDPE pipes, plastic fittings, bathroom fittings, uPVC WPC doors, uPVC foam sheets, water tanks, Teflon taps, and other polymer and paint products to meet growing market demand. To support its Bathroom Fittings Production operations, FPPL is looking for an experienced, motivated, proactive, and technically competent professional for the position of Deputy Manager – Bathroom Fittings Production. The role will be responsible for managing production operations, optimizing machinery, molds, manpower, and materials, ensuring product quality and productivity, minimizing production losses, and maintaining safety and operational standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan production activities according to approved schedules, product demand, machine capacity, and raw material availability.

• Supervise bathroom fittings manufacturing processes to achieve production targets and quality standards.

• Monitor injection molding, trimming, finishing, assembly, and other relevant production activities.

• Ensure product dimensions, weight, appearance, fitting accuracy, surface finish, and functional requirements meet approved specifications.

• Optimize machine utilization, cycle time, manpower, and material consumption to improve productivity.

• Coordinate with Tool Room, Maintenance, and Quality Control teams to resolve technical and quality issues.

• Analyze rejection, rework, wastage, downtime, and production efficiency to identify root causes.

• Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce quality defects and production losses.

• Supervise production personnel and ensure proper manpower allocation across production lines.

• Ensure proper product changeover, machine setup, cleaning, and process-control procedures.

• Maintain SOP, 5S, safety, housekeeping, and production discipline.

• Prepare production reports and communicate performance and operational issues to management.
