Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, or relevant discipline.
Minimum 6–8 years of experience in merchandising within footwear or leather goods manufacturing industries.
Strong knowledge of product development, costing, T&A planning, and production follow-up.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) for buyer correspondence.
Good leadership, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
RRP Footwear & Leather Goods Ltd. is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager (Merchandising) to support and manage end-to-end merchandising activities for footwear and leather goods production.
The role is responsible for buyer coordination, order execution, material planning, production follow-up, and on-time shipment while ensuring quality, compliance, and profitability. The Deputy Manager will work closely with buyers, production, sourcing, quality, and commercial teams.
Assist in managing overall merchandising operations from order confirmation to shipment.
Communicate with buyers regarding order details, samples, approvals, pricing, delivery schedules, and shipment updates.
Prepare and follow up on T&A (Time & Action) plans to ensure timely execution of orders.
Coordinate with sourcing, production, planning, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor material development, trims, accessories, and leather availability as per buyer requirements.
Track sample development (proto, size set, pre-production) and ensure timely buyer approval.
Ensure production follows buyer specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
Support costing, price negotiation, and order profitability analysis.
Monitor production progress, identify risks, and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
Prepare merchandising reports, order status updates, and shipment summaries for management.
Support audits and buyer visits in coordination with compliance and quality teams.
Guide and supervise junior merchandisers and executives.
