Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, or relevant discipline.

  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in merchandising within footwear or leather goods manufacturing industries.

  • Strong knowledge of product development, costing, T&A planning, and production follow-up.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) for buyer correspondence.

  • Good leadership, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

  • Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities & Context:

RRP Footwear & Leather Goods Ltd. is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager (Merchandising) to support and manage end-to-end merchandising activities for footwear and leather goods production.

The role is responsible for buyer coordination, order execution, material planning, production follow-up, and on-time shipment while ensuring quality, compliance, and profitability. The Deputy Manager will work closely with buyers, production, sourcing, quality, and commercial teams.

  • Assist in managing overall merchandising operations from order confirmation to shipment.

  • Communicate with buyers regarding order details, samples, approvals, pricing, delivery schedules, and shipment updates.

  • Prepare and follow up on T&A (Time & Action) plans to ensure timely execution of orders.

  • Coordinate with sourcing, production, planning, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflow.

  • Monitor material development, trims, accessories, and leather availability as per buyer requirements.

  • Track sample development (proto, size set, pre-production) and ensure timely buyer approval.

  • Ensure production follows buyer specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Support costing, price negotiation, and order profitability analysis.

  • Monitor production progress, identify risks, and take corrective actions to avoid delays.

  • Prepare merchandising reports, order status updates, and shipment summaries for management.

  • Support audits and buyer visits in coordination with compliance and quality teams.

  • Guide and supervise junior merchandisers and executives.
