This is a strategic, on-site role in Dhaka, responsible for the end-to-end management of Heavy Gabbro trading operations. You will act as the linchpin connecting international suppliers with the domestic construction and infrastructure market, leveraging Madina Group's established reputation and network.
Key Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Activities
· End-to-End Trade Cycle Management: Oversee the entire process from identifying and vetting international suppliers (likely in regions like the UAE, Oman, or India) to final delivery to clients in Bangladesh.
· Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Negotiate competitive contracts with overseas gabbro quarries or exporters, ensuring consistent quality and supply stability.
· Sales & Client Portfolio Management: Build and nurture relationships with key clients (e.g., large construction firms, infrastructure developers, ready-mix concrete plants). Understand their project requirements and provide tailored solutions.
· Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination: Manage the complex logistics of shipping heavy bulk materials, including chartering vessels (if applicable), customs clearance, port operations, and inland transportation.
1. Core Experience: Proven track record in procurement, supply chain, and logistics, specifically for heavy bulk materials (e.g., aggregates, clinker, slag, granite). Experience in international trade is non-negotiable.
2. Commercial Acumen: Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills to secure favorable terms with both suppliers and buyers.
3. Relationship Management: Strong ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and clients across cultures.
4. Analytical Prowess: Competence in market analysis, forecasting, and using data to drive trading decisions and prepare insightful reports.
5. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Bangladeshi import regulations, customs procedures, and international trade compliance (INCOTERMS, shipping documentation).
6. Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
7. Communication & Organization: High proficiency in business communication (English and Bengali) and superior organizational skills to manage multiple complex tasks.
