B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Highly experienced candidates may be considered)
Membership of IEB is an advantage.

Skills Required:
Additional Requirements:
- Age 35 to 48 years
Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance systems.
Experience with TPM, 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, gearbox, bearing, shaft alignment, lubrication, and rotating equipment.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and maintenance planning software is preferred.
Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
1. Mechanical Maintenance
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs.
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of all production machinery.
• Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Improve machine reliability and equipment life.
• Prepare annual shutdown maintenance plans.
2. Production Support
• Coordinate with Production department to achieve daily production targets.
• Reduce machine downtime and increase machine efficiency.
• Ensure quick response to emergency machine breakdowns.
• Support new machine installation and commissioning.
3. Utility Management
Supervise maintenance and operation of:
• Boiler
• Air Compressor
• Humidification Plant
• Water Pumps
• Cooling Systems
• Fire Fighting Equipment
• Generator
• Water Treatment System
4. Workshop Management
• Supervise machine shop activities.
• Ensure proper maintenance of:
o Lathe Machine
o Milling Machine
o Shaper
o Drilling Machine
o Welding Equipment
o Fabrication Tools
• Oversee fabrication and modification works.
5. Spare Parts Management
• Maintain optimum spare parts inventory.
• Identify critical spare parts.
• Prepare annual spare parts budget.
• Coordinate procurement with Supply Chain.
• Control maintenance cost through inventory optimization.
6. Team Leadership
• Lead Mechanical Engineers, Assistant Engineers, Supervisors and Technicians.
• Prepare manpower deployment plans.
• Conduct technical training.
• Evaluate team performance.
• Ensure discipline and productivity.
7. Safety & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Act and Factory Safety requirements.
• Implement Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.
• Conduct machine safety inspections.
• Ensure PPE compliance.
• Maintain 5S and good housekeeping.
• Participate in safety audits.
8. Continuous Improvement
• Introduce TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
• Implement Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Reduce maintenance costs through Kaizen initiatives.
• Support automation and modernization projects.
9. Documentation & Reporting Maintain:
• Maintenance History Cards
• Breakdown Analysis Reports
• Preventive Maintenance Checklists
• Utility Consumption Reports
• Spare Parts Inventory Reports
• Monthly Maintenance KPI Reports
• Annual Maintenance Budget
