Job Context

Madina Group of Companies is looking for a qualified, experienced, and motivated Structural Engineer to join its Development Sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for the structural design, analysis, supervision, quality assurance, and technical support of industrial, commercial, residential, and infrastructure development projects. The role requires close coordination with architects, MEP engineers, consultants, contractors, and project management teams to ensure safe, economical, and code-compliant construction.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare structural designs, calculations, and detailed drawings for development projects.

• Perform structural analysis using relevant engineering software.

• Review architectural and structural drawings to ensure technical accuracy and constructability.

• Ensure compliance with BNBC, relevant international standards, and client requirements.

• Review reinforcement detailing, formwork drawings, and shop drawings.

• Conduct site inspections to verify construction quality and structural compliance.

• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Review material specifications, technical submittals, and method statements.

• Identify structural risks and recommend practical engineering solutions.

• Prepare structural reports, progress reports, technical documentation, and project records.

• Assist in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and cost optimization.

• Ensure quality control and quality assurance during construction.

• Support tender evaluation by reviewing structural aspects of bids and technical proposals.

• Perform any other engineering duties assigned by management.
