Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure all Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) processes and procedures are implemented and standardized across the PVC/VCM/ASU/PET plant.
∎ Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health.
∎ Track company health and safety metrics and use the data to identify and to reduce risk.
∎ Assist in all aspects of incident investigation including verifying root cause and approving the implementation of preventative actions.
∎ Ensure emergency response systems, policies, and procedures are in place to manage emergency situations.
∎ Maintain Chemical Hazardous waste program including chemical accumulation and accumulation area inspections.
∎ Monitor and ensure that the activities are being performed with acceptable
∎ safety norms.
∎ Carry out safety inspection like fire pumps, sprinkler system, fire hydrant system,
∎ pillar hydrant, fire equipment cabinet, fire hose cabinet, fire extinguishers, emergency
∎ exit, fire alarm, smoke detector, emergency lights, fire-rated doors, first aid box etc. on
∎ the site and what remedial steps/action have been undertaken.
∎ Provide HSE training, and support to all levels of employees across the plant.
