• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as Denim Wash QC in garments or wash-related operations

• Must understand different types of denim fabric and how they behave after wash

• Must know common denim washing methods and how washing changes color and look

• Must understand over dye / color wash process

• Must know how to check wash quality by eye and hand feel

• Must be able to identify wash problems like shade difference, stain, patch, damage, or rough feel.

• Monitor and control denim wash quality for all styles running through external wash factories.
• Help make wash samples and check that samples match buyer approved wash.
• Make sure all denim washing is done correctly (enzyme, stone, bleach, acid, color wash, over dye, tinting, special wash, etc.).
• Check wash look, feel, and finishing of garments.
• Check garments during bulk washing and inform management and take action if any wash problem is found.
• Check and take approval of wash sample and pilot from manager before starting bulk washing.
• Check garments for wash problems like stain, color difference, damage, holes, or tearing and ensure garments are not damaged during wash process.
• Work closely with wash factory people, production team, merchandising team, and QC team.
• Keep simple records of checked garments and submit report to Manager.
• Follow quality rules and factory instructions properly.
• Support final checking and make sure wash quality is okay before shipment.
