Minimum 15 years of experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership within a bank or financial institution, with strong exposure to CBS operations, IT infrastructure, card and ADC technology, cybersecurity, digital payments, and regulatory compliance aligned with Bangladesh Bank ICT policies; proven stakeholder management skills and relevant certifications in ICT, Cybersecurity, or GRC are preferred.
Core Banking & ADC Technology: In-depth knowledge of CBS architecture, card systems, switching platforms, and alternate delivery channels.
IT Infrastructure & Data Center Management:Hands-on experience with network architecture, virtualization, cloud platforms, and disaster recovery systems.
Cybersecurity & Compliance: Strong command of information security practices, GRC tools, risk frameworks, and regulatory standards.
Digital Banking & Payment Systems: Proficiency in mobile and internet banking technologies, real-time payment infrastructure, and system integration (e.g., APIs)Technology.
Strategy & Governance: Proven ability to formulate IT strategy, lead digital transformation, and align technology with business priorities.
Budgeting & Performance Monitoring: Experience in managing IT budgets, tracking KPIs, and driving operational efficiency through data-driven insights
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for defining and executing the bank’s technology vision and leading its digital transformation initiatives. This role ensures that technology strategies are aligned with business goals, promotes innovation in service delivery, and enhances organizational efficiency through smart, secure, and scalable solutions.

Digital Trends & Product Evolution:
Stay updated on global trends in digital banking, products, and customer experience to guide future initiatives.

Strategic Technology Alignment:
Ensure technology investments and resources are aligned with the bank’s short- and long-term goals.
Technology Integration Across Functions:
Enable departments to effectively adopt and utilize technology to enhance productivity and profitability.
System Infrastructure Oversight:
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and efficient IT infrastructure.
Data Security & Quality Assurance:
Establish and enforce protocols for quality assurance, data protection, and cybersecurity compliance.
Performance Monitoring & Budget Control:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and manage IT budgets to assess and enhance technological performance.
Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate the technology vision clearly to internal teams, external partners, and strategic stakeholders.
Technology Evaluation & Investment:
Evaluate the relevance and cost-effectiveness of new technologies to enhance business and IT outcomes.
Strategic Initiatives:
