Responsibilities & Context:
  • Find out client's fund requirements, key financial indicators, repayment capacity, risk & its mitigation, collateral security aspects, bank transaction performance, portfolio growth & turnover, business & product nature, major customers/competitors, etc.

  • Recommendation of CMSME credit proposals for approval/rejection to superior authority based on physical visit observations, analysis of financial information, and consideration of other subjective issues within standard TAT.

  • MIS maintaining, communication, and reporting.

  • Deposit mobilization, achieving additional set goals periodically by organization other than regular work such as TDR, Money Builders, and others.

  • Coordinate with related SME relationship management, branch officials, operations, and other departments in a timely and effective manner to ensure an effective value chain. Besides, communicate credit risk issues with all stakeholders to safeguard the interest of LBFL.

  • Conduct physical visits of all SME borrowers and proposed securities to validate financial information, KYC, ensure due diligence, and other subjective issues.

  • Scrutiny and evaluation of SME credit proposals received from SME Financial Service Department in light of internal & external lending policies, credit circulars, and instructions (Head Office & Bangladesh Bank).

  • Monitoring existing portfolio with the coordination of business and collection team and conducting post-disbursement visits for irregular borrowers and guarantors on a regular basis for reducing PAR and NPL of LBFL.

  • Initiating coaching & training for branch SME team development for raising their potentials and ensuring upgradation of relevant knowledge. Review/apply delegation of (as determined by the Board) the files from the credit analysts from assigned region.

  • Assist Zonal Credit Manager on specific projects/tasks as assigned related to internal work, current market situation, and giving feedback on market, industry/sector, portfolio, etc. to all relevant concerns.
