Experience:

• At least 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks

• Masters

• Masters’ degree from reputed university with no third division/class in any academic result.

• At least 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks

• Age At most 55 years

• Minimum 3 years’ working experience in Islamic Wing/Unit of a Conventional Bank and minimum 2 years’ experience as Head or Deputy Head of Islamic Banking Division.

• Additional Requirements

• Applicant having break of service need not to apply.

• Must have sound knowledge in the Quran, Hadith, Fiqh and Islamic Economics/Finance.

• Strong leadership qualities for coaching, mentoring and managing people.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Age Limit: Age at most 55 years.

Employment Status: Permanent in the rank up to Senior Vice President.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all activities of the Islamic Banking Division of the Bank as Head of the Division.

• Monitoring to ensure delivery of annual business & financial goals and targets for Islamic Windows.

• Ensuring that the progress of Islamic Banking is made in line with the overall business strategies and operations of the Bank.

• Participating in the management body in formulating basic strategy and plans particularly on the issues such as Core Risk Management and compliance of BASEL - II, III for Islamic Banking.

• Keeping eyes on Socio-Economic trends of banking opportunities to innovate new products and services and also in updating the existing products of Islamic Banking.

• Designing `modus operandi` for different asset and liability products under Islamic Banking.

• Leading, coaching and managing Islamic Banking Team, assisting them to achieve individual and team targets as well as fostering their individual career development aspirations.
