Experience:
MBA from a reputed institution will be preferred.
Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, CAMS, or equivalent will be considered an advantage.
Minimum 15 years of experience in Banks or Financial Institutions.
At least 5 years of experience in Special Assets Management, Recovery, Credit Risk, or related functions.
Minimum 3 years in a senior management role.
Strong knowledge of classified loan management, legal recovery, restructuring, and Bangladesh Bank regulations.
Experience in managing cross-functional stakeholders and recovery teams.

United Finance is looking for a dynamic and hardworking professional for the position of Head of Special Assets Management (SAM).
Key Responsibilities
Lead recovery, restructuring, rescheduling, and settlement initiatives for classified and stressed assets.
Develop and implement recovery strategies to reduce non-performing loans and improve portfolio quality.
Oversee legal recovery, litigation, repossession, and disposal of collateral and repossessed assets.
Monitor recovery performance against approved targets and drive corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations, internal policies, and recovery governance standards.
Prepare recovery and portfolio reports for Management, Board Committees, and regulatory authorities.
Collaborate with Business, Credit Risk, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Branches to resolve problematic accounts.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Special Assets Management team to achieve departmental objectives.
Additional Responsibilities
Enhance recovery policies, procedures, and monitoring frameworks.
Represent the department in audits, regulatory reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
