- At least 3–5 years of experience as Branch Manager / Deputy Branch Manager / Head of Branch Operations in a scheduled bank
- Strong exposure to branch banking, credit operations, deposits, and regulatory compliance
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Sound knowledge of banking laws, regulations, and Bangladesh Bank guidelines
- Excellent communication, customer relationship, and business development skills
- High integrity, accountability, and risk awareness
Responsibilities & Context:
Lead and manage overall branch operations, business development, and profitability
Drive deposit mobilization, loan growth, and fee-based income of the branch
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations, internal policies, and procedures
Maintain asset quality, credit discipline, and operational risk control
Ensure high standards of customer service and service excellence
Supervise branch staff performance, discipline, and development
Ensure proper KYC, AML/CFT compliance, and internal control at branch level
Coordinate regulatory inspections, audits, and timely implementation of observations
Represent the Bank professionally in the local business community
