∎ Project Name : More Women Play a Greater Role and are Better Served by Humanitarian Response and Recovery Efforts, funded by UN Women
∎ Duration of Contract : Up to 31 December 2019
∎ Since August 2017, the heavy influx of Myanmar nationals into Cox`s Bazar requires emergency response in accordance with AAB`s humanitarian mandate. AAB has started to respond and to scale-up to reach beneficiaries. AAB`s response has a strong focus on gender - more specifically, putting women and adolescent girls at the centre of the response - protection, gender-based violence (GBV), sexual and reproductive health (SRH) is lead on the integration of gender and protection (namely GBV prevention, protection and mitigation
∎ Relationships: S/he will report to Project Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organize project staff Capacity building training.
∎ Support in coordinating relevant trainings and capacity building
∎ Perform/Support necessary reporting.
∎ Conduct different assessments, surveys, etc.
∎ Track necessary logistics and procurement
∎ Develop and coordinate field level operations to ensure adequate and efficient service provision to project beneficiaries
∎ Organize group meeting and develop business plan
∎ Provide input (seed, manure and Relevant Material) support
∎ Prepare requisition for raw materials and equipment
∎ Maintain the training equipment that are used in center
∎ Prepare report and success stories in a regular basis
∎ Calculate monthly income of the training participants
∎ Any other specific area of responsibilities assigned by the project management
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 03 years of professional experience in Capacity building training and project management in a reputed organization and have experience responding to WFS would be an added value
∎ Clear understanding of gender, human rights, issues surrounding violence against women and girls.
∎ Prior exposure and experience in protection interventions in line with Refugee operations and case management processes and skill development.
∎ Experience working in emergency responses targeting vulnerable women and girls.
∎ Excellent communication, listening and observation skills, including ability to create trust, support, respect and interact with survivors of all ages, background and diversity.
∎ Good understanding of skill development training.
∎ Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect in WFS always is essential.
∎ Support maintenance related work
∎ Coordinate with colleagues of livelihood and skills development activities and ensure smooth operation of components of the project.
∎ Any other work assigned by the Line Manager
