Responsibilities & Context:
This position is responsible for overseeing pattern development and grading, ensuring accurate sample execution aligned with tech packs, and implementing buyer feedback through technical adjustments. The role provides essential technical support to merchandising and production teams, manages CAD operations and related documentation, and ensures effective communication with buyers and internal departments. The position also participates in relevant meetings to facilitate smooth sample and production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Make Pattern, Grading /Graded Patterns, organize and providing support to sample, production and fabric consumption.
- Ensure sample making according to tech pack.
- Check sample quality, styling, measurement, dummy fitting etc.
- Review and understand buyer's comments on pattern & sample and do necessary correction as required by buyer.
- To provide technical advice and support to customers, merchandising & production staff.
- Calculate consumptions, based on single size or Ratio.
- As well as maintaining document archives and retrieval for future reference.
- Managing CAD and other related software vendors. Print Outs of Buyers / Factories Patterns.
- Opening the technical files with.dxf,.mdl,.zip files & extracting the required information's
- Provide leadership and vision to the company in the area of CAD.
- To communicate with buyer, merchandiser and factory production staff.
- To attend meeting with the buyer or management when required.
