Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in mechanical/HSC
∎ Highly experience candidate preferred
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have a certificate and sound knowledge to operate the boiler.
∎ Manage the boiler and other related machinery, ensuring it is functional and safe at all times.
∎ Inspect safety devices on a daily basis, running tests and reporting any unusual situations
∎ Monitor boiler water and fuel levels, making adjustments and activating valves as necessary to keep the boiler operational.
∎ Maintain records of operation, fuel and water levels, completed maintenance and other data.
∎ Ensure optimal and continuous operation of mechanical systems by performing routine inspections and maintenance, monitoring metering equipment and adjusting levels as necessary.
∎ Perform necessary repairs and replacements, obtain replacement parts and upgrade components as needed while staying within the budget.
∎ Sustain up-to-date knowledge of developments in relevant technology and make recommendations for overhauls and upgrades.
∎ Must have a certificate and sound knowledge to operate the boiler.
∎ Other technical jobs as & when required by the Supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ 1st class Govt. boiler operation license holder
∎ Good knowledge of operation & maintenance related to boiler and its accessories
∎ Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams, written orders, control gauges, and manufacturer's operating instructions books.
∎ Open-minded approach towards learning new skills and sharpening existing skill sets.
∎ Result oriented and a strong desire for success
∎ Thorough knowledge of plant safety standards & procedure
∎ Good interpretation skill
