Education:

• Bachelor of Social Science (Pass)

• 6 months training from Fire Safety and Civil Defense (FSCD) is MANDATORY.

• Fire safety trainings from GAP and BRAC.

Responsibilities & Context:

We are a 100% export-oriented renowned washing plant, looking for a dynamic, energetic and proactive candidate for the "Officer - Fire & Safety" position. The incumbent must have the initiative, experience and drive to deliver high-quality results.

• Stay up-to-date with local, state, and national fire safety regulations.

• Ensure compliance with fire safety standards and codes.

• Conduct drills and training sessions for employee preparedness in emergencies.

• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and violations.

• Collaborate with relevant departments to establish evacuation procedures and assembly points.

• Identify and recommend corrective actions to eliminate or mitigate potential fire hazards.

• Regularly inspect fire safety equipment such as extinguishers, alarms, and sprinkler systems.

• Organize fire safety training programs for employees at all levels.

• Prepare detailed incident reports and recommend corrective actions.

• Liaise with local fire departments, emergency services, and regulatory agencies.

• Communicate fire safety policies and procedures to all employees.

• Other related assignments given by the respective reporting head or higher management.
