About the Job

TEKVILLA LIMITED is looking for an experienced, responsible and result-oriented Project Manager to lead and manage multiple engineering and technical projects from planning through successful completion.

The selected candidate will be responsible for overall project execution, coordination with clients and consultants, supervision of project teams, material and manpower planning, quality control, documentation, testing & commissioning, and ensuring that projects are completed within the approved scope, schedule, quality and budget.

Candidates with practical experience in Fire Detection & Alarm System, Fire Protection System, PA System, BBT, Electrical/MEP or other building safety and engineering projects will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage projects from initiation to completion.

• Prepare project execution plans, work schedules and manpower requirements.

• Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.

• Supervise Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, Technicians and other project personnel.

• Monitor daily project progress against approved schedules and take corrective actions when required.

• Ensure project activities are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, BOQ and applicable standards.

• Review project drawings, technical documents, material specifications and method statements.

• Coordinate material procurement, delivery and site requirements to ensure uninterrupted project execution.

• Monitor manpower, material and equipment utilization.

• Conduct regular site inspections and project progress meetings.

• Identify project risks, technical issues and potential delays and implement appropriate solutions.

• Ensure proper installation, testing, commissioning and handover of project systems.

• Maintain project documentation including progress reports, inspection reports, material approvals, test reports, variation records and handover documents.

• Prepare and submit project progress reports to management and clients.

• Coordinate with Accounts/Commercial teams regarding project billing, work orders, variation orders and payment-related matters.

• Monitor project costs and assist management in maintaining project profitability.

• Ensure proper quality control and compliance with relevant codes, standards and project requirements.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, site safety requirements and client/consultant instructions.

• Manage project-related meetings and maintain proper minutes and action trackers.

• Resolve site-level technical and coordination issues efficiently.

• Support the Business Development/Estimation team with technical input for new projects when required.

• Ensure timely completion, commissioning and final handover of projects.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering / EEE / ECE / Fire Safety Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

• Diploma in Engineering with strong relevant experience may also be considered.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in project management, project execution or engineering project supervision.

• Practical experience in managing Fire Protection / Fire Detection & Alarm / ELV / Electrical / MEP / Building Safety projects will be highly preferred.

• Experience in handling commercial, industrial, factory, high-rise building or large-scale projects will be an advantage.

• Candidates with proven experience in independently managing projects from mobilization to final handover will receive preference.

Technical Knowledge

The candidate should have practical knowledge of one or more of the following:

• Fire Detection & Alarm System

• Fire Protection System

• Fire Pump & Hydrant System

• Sprinkler System

• Fire Suppression System

• Emergency Lighting System

• Public Address (PA) System

• Electrical & MEP Systems

• Testing, Commissioning & Handover

• AutoCAD and technical drawing interpretation

• BOQ, estimation and project documentation

Knowledge of relevant BNBC, NFPA, FM Global, local fire safety requirements and other applicable standards/codes will be an added advantage.
