Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the entire audit process as an auditor on selected schemes.
∎ Ensure audits are conducted effectively in compliance with Global Procedures, scheme requirements, and client SOPs.
∎ Adhere to agreed turnaround times for reporting and deliverables. Provide technical expertise to back-office and sales teams as needed.
∎ Review audit reports submitted by other auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
∎ Foster industry collaboration by leveraging networks and professional relationships.
∎ Stay informed about evolving industry standards, client expectations, and best practices in auditing.
∎ Uphold the Company’s Code of Integrity & Professional Conduct and Impartiality Policy while promoting compliance among peers.
∎ Collect, analyze, and share updates on relevant laws, regulations, and SOPs to ensure the audit team remains compliant.
∎ Observe and assess auditors to evaluate the effectiveness of their audit practices, maintaining team competence.
∎ Lead and coordinate the audit team before, during, and after audits.
∎ Mentor auditors by providing "on-the-job" training to support their professional growth.
∎ We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auditor to join our SGS INDIA team. As a Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of audits in line with Global Procedures, Scheme requirements, and client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
∎ You will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of auditing and meeting agreed turnaround times for reporting and other deliverables.
∎ Job Location: INDIA (Mumbai)
