• Ability to read and interpret garment patterns and technical sheets.

• Good communication skills and teamwork mindset.

Job Context: We are seeking a skilled Garment Sewing Technician with expertise in knit garment production, specifically bras, bonded bras, and fashionable tops. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience in quality sewing, and the ability to train and upgrade helpers to operator level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing line pre-setting activities, ensuring size set samples are ready before PPM.

• Completing all pre-setting tasks prior to machine or line layout and confirm RFT 1st output.

• Operate and supervise sewing machines for bras, bonded bras, and fashion tops/bottoms.

• Maintain high-quality garment construction, ensuring precision in stitching, bonding, and finishing.

• Control and guide/teach the floor technician team to ensure smooth production.

• Identify non-value-added (NVA) operations and implement Kaizen improvements in collaboration with the IE team.

• Train helpers and junior operators to enhance skill levels and efficiency in sewing operations.

• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sewing processes.

• Troubleshoot sewing issues and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and quality.

• Monitor production workflow, maintain quality standards, and minimize any wastage.

• Collaborate with the production team to achieve daily targets and meet deadlines.
