Responsibilities & Context:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Executive Director – Merchandising to lead and oversee cluster-level merchandising operations. The role requires strong commercial acumen, client relationship management, budget control, and operational leadership to drive sustainable business growth and profitability.

1. Prepare, monitor, and review monthly, quarterly, and annual cluster budgets and sales plans, ensuring targets are achieved.

2. Manage internal and external production capacities while aligning with client buying calendars and meeting development & costing deadlines.

3. Drive new business development through market research, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking.

4. Ensure achievement of client development targets, adherence to delivery timelines, plant capacity optimization, and ordering system accuracy.

5. Provide strategic direction on SMV, yarn yield (YY), raw material pricing, and lead client negotiations during initial costing.

6. Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer KPIs and service levels are consistently met.

7. Monitor airfreight, claims management, and ensure compliance with new customer onboarding procedures.

8. Oversee weekly critical path management and ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD/OTT) performance meets company targets.

9. Ensure Delivery in Full On Time (DIFOT) through effective coordination with factories, planning, sourcing, and cross-functional teams.

10. Lead and develop merchandising teams through clear goal setting, mentoring, coaching, and succession planning.
