• Understanding of yarn types, fabric structures, gauges, and stitch formation.

• Computer literacy.

• Experience with Adobe Illustrator is considered as added advantage.

Responsibilities & Context

Overview: The New Asia Group is comprised of six entities forming a vertically-integrated apparel manufacturing organization, headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We are seeking a compatible Executive, Knitting (R&D)- Seamless Garments who will work for our Seamless Garment factory, J.M. Fabrics Limited at Rajendrapur, Gazipur and who meets the following Criteria:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop knitting programs based on design specifications and buyer requirements.

• Operate and program computerized flat or circular knitting machines.

• Create and modify programs to achieve desired fabric structure, gauge, and pattern.

• Conduct sampling and testing to ensure design accuracy and fabric quality.

• Troubleshoot programming and machine-related issues during production.

• Optimize programs to improve machine efficiency and reduce yarn wastage.

• Coordinate with design, sampling, and production teams for new developments.

• Maintain technical documentation and program records.

• Support continuous improvement in knitting processes and techniques.
