• Monitor cutting input on sewing lines and check daily cutting production to ensure targets are achieved.

• Review and verify marker accuracy, fabric consumption, shade/quality, and fabric inspection before starting bulk cutting.

• Study and strictly follow all buyer-approved cutting manuals to eliminate errors and ensure compliance.

• Develop cutting plans and determine daily/weekly cutting targets with in-charge and supervisors to improve productivity and reduce labor cost.

• Monitor all cutting and preparation phases to ensure garments are produced within the allotted timeline.

• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and cutting resources.

• Develop and implement efficient cutting schedules to meet production requirements and shipment deadlines.

• Conduct daily coordination meetings to follow up on cut plans, address issues, and ensure weekly shipment schedules are met.

• Analyze monthly cutting production, identify gaps, and provide corrective action plans to achieve departmental goals.

• Ensure 100% availability of manpower, materials, and equipment for cutting and fusing sections.

• Oversee fusing quality, cutting quality, and ensure smooth line feeding in coordination with merchandising, planning, and sewing teams.

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cuts meet pattern, design, and quality specifications.

• Supervise, guide, and train cutting staff while maintaining disciplined, safe, and productive shop floor operations.

• Evaluate staff performance, identify training needs, and support career development initiatives.

• Ensure all cutting machinery is properly maintained, serviced, and functioning safely.

• Prepare and maintain all required reports including production, quality, safety, consumption, maintenance, stock, manpower, and cost reports.

• Ensure cost reduction by minimizing fabric wastage, rejection, over-cutting, and overtime.

• Maintain strict compliance with safety, quality, and workplace standards and ensure clean, organized floor conditions.

• Foster a positive, responsive, and teamwork-based culture while ensuring production schedules are met.

• Ensure line input is provided as per Order → Plan → Cut sequence.

• Prepare and submit all management-required reports timely.

• Perform any other tasks assigned by the management.
