Skills Required: EPZ Labor Law 2019,Grievance Handling,Industrial Relations,Team Leadership
Additional Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of Bangladesh EPZ Labor Law & related compliance.
Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
Ability to work under pressure with integrity and fairness.
Responsibilities & Context:
Act as the dedicated IR lead for the factory and manage all IR-related issues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with workers, supervisors, and management to ensure smooth communication.
Handle grievances, disputes, and disciplinary matters in line with labor law and company policy.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh EPZ Labor Law, labor court issues, and regulatory requirements.
Support collective bargaining and negotiations with worker representatives.
Develop & implement proactive strategies to reduce workplace conflict and enhance employee engagement.
Maintain liaison with government agencies, BGMEA, BEPZA, law enforcement, and other stakeholders.
Provide guidance to line managers on disciplinary actions, standing orders, and legal procedures.
