Job Responsibilities:
∎ This position requires highly technical communications with public, private stakeholders along with international funders and donors regarding technical specifications of our water filtration equipment and processes.
∎ Plans, organizes and directs all phases of the water treatment process and filtration.
∎ Directs and supervises the work of personnel involved in maintaining and repairing water treatment equipment and testing water samples; instructs and trains personnel in correct methods and procedures; establishes work priorities; monitors work in progress; ensures workers follow safe practices and departmental policies and procedures.
∎ Inspects the operation of the water ATMs & BSTI plants located at different parts of the country to ensure compliance with standards and proper operation; approves adjustments in treatment; ensures proper use of chemicals; ensures chemical dosage is in compliance with set guidelines.
∎ Facilitate in preparing and maintaining accurate reports and records on plant operations; prepares and submits orders for chemicals and supplies to the logistic department; prepares and maintains accurate records on chemical usage, plant pumping, and other purification activities.
∎ Demonstrate a high level of customer service; encourage others to focus on the customer; foster an environment where customer service is a priority.
∎ Provide positive, supportive supervision and leadership for lab and water quality program staff. Demonstrate support for team efforts by accepting new roles and responsibilities, and helping others achieve objectives.
∎ Clearly and concisely communicate complex water quality topics to a variety of audiences & address difficult or contentious issues in a constructive manner.
∎ Investigating waste spills or other sources of contamination in order to identify the source of contamination and recommended solutions.
∎ Conducting research on various topics related to water quality, such as different water treatment processes.
∎ Provide technical expertise and guidance on issues related to water & environmental regulations & compliance.
∎ Ensure safety of public health and environment by demonstrating compliance with all applicable govt. regulations.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Female experienced candidates are highly preferred.
∎ Candidates need to have experiences in the following areas: Beverage, Mineral Water, Water purification, Water Filtration, Research Organization.
∎ Interpersonal skills for liaising with customers, regulatory bodies, and other internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication both online and offline.
∎ Knowledgeable in state-of-the-art field and laboratory equipment for environmental and water quality monitoring.
