Job Responsibilities:
∎ Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance/quality.
∎ Assessing customer requirements and ensuring that these are met.
∎ Bulk fabrics inspection reports if within buyer's standard penalty points / square yards
∎ Communicate all the quality-related decisions and issues effectively to all relevant internal and external parties, (customers and suppliers) to assure the consistency of standards, and providing quality related information to the required persons and the management to facilitate decision making.
∎ Communicating with production team and take any kind of approval from the concern merchandiser.
∎ Conducting final inspection
∎ Control and ensure quality finishing, packing as per customers' precondition.
∎ Coordinate with production, Merchandising, QA & other related departments
∎ Creating yearly T&A calendar for quality in alignment with overall product development calendar.
∎ Deal with the quality concern independently for all quality control activities including quality control, Audit, In-process inspection, in line inspection, Traffic light system, TQM, 5S, Lot pass audit, DHU, Root cause analysis, preventive & corrective action to make the system more effective.
∎ Identify quality issues and analyze complex problems; recommend and implement preventive and/or corrective actions.
∎ Develop and improve existing QC systems to meet the international standards and ensure production outputs are in line with company specifications.
∎ Development of all overall and specific quality assurance policies and standards for all product categories.
∎ Ensure reduce garments defects and make action plan analyzing the problem and solve the quality issues.
∎ Ensure rigorous control of repairable & washable garments.
∎ Ensure that all goods coming in the store are rigorously inspected for quality & quantity.
∎ Ensure that AQL of the company is properly maintained& exceeded.
∎ Ensure that production commences only when worksheet approved sample & swatch card are at hand.
∎ Ensure that quality manual includes all policy, procedures, methods & measures so as to unify actions.
∎ Fabric / trims issues, production actual status both garments required processing issues, garment quality issues, sub-contracting without approval issues, etc.
∎ Full responsibility for Finishing quality functions. (i.e.: Manufacturing process to Product shipment).
∎ Gathering reference approved swatch samples as to color / shade conformity
∎ Get reference from buyers approved sewing / finishing / packing trims/materials and include it on the trim cards.
∎ Inspection of performance, internal audit performance and accountability.
∎ Investigating and setting standards for quality.
∎ Lead safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace.
∎ Liaison with buyers on compliance, technical, quality management, audit and final inspection.
∎ Plan for year wise improvement of quality.
∎ Planning and managing quality department activities in accordance with agreed upon budget, timeline and goal.
∎ Prepare plan with QC PP meeting, Inline, final and AQL.
∎ Recording, analyzing and distributing statistical information and monitoring performance.
∎ Should have knowledge of all aspect of quality control methods and practices including AQL levels and other prevailing international standards to Implement and improve Quality Policy, Plan, Manual and SOP.
∎ Strong technical knowledge in quality system.
∎ Supervise Quality Team to ensure the Customer requirements.
∎ Writing management/technical reports and customers' charters.
∎ Update quality policy, setting quality objectives, composing quality manual and SOP as per global standard and requirement of the brands;
∎ Understand all the details of this garment orders from preventive stage of material & garment sample development, basic lab testing and its required tools / equipment, fabric inspection penalty points / system used, cutting, printing/embroidery, sewing, several types of wet & dry washing, finishing, packing, mold preventive control, pre-final and required final inspection
∎ Need to handle all the buyers Q.C and inspection independently.

∎ Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bengali and English.
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, E-mail communication, using internet.
∎ Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work hard efficiently.
