• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and analytical tools/software.

• Import Operations: Handle the end-to-end processing of import transactions, including the issuance, negotiation of Letters of Credit (LCs), Bills for Collection, and other trade instruments.
• Documentation and Compliance: Scrutinize all trade documents (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading) for compliance with the terms of the LC and international rules such as UCP 600, ISBP, and URC 522.
• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure strict compliance with the Foreign Exchange Guidelines of Bangladesh Bank and other relevant regulations set by the government and international bodies.
• Client Relationship Management: Maintain excellent relationships with corporate and individual clients, providing expert advice on trade finance products and resolving their inquiries promptly.
• Payment Processing: Process all import and export payments accurately and in a timely manner, including commissions, charges, and other fees.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to the Head Office and Bangladesh Bank as per regulatory requirements.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to trade transactions, including documentary, reputational, and operational risks.
