Job Context:
∎ Maintaining access to WASH, Shelter, Energy and Self-Reliance services for the Rohingyas in Bangladesh.
∎ The key purpose of this position is to carry out the duties and responsibilities to ensure effective implementation of Fecal Sludge Management interventions maintaining the highest possible level of standards and quality by ensuring necessary support to the project and utilizing resources for implementation. In this circumstance, NGO Forum is looking for a qualified individual to carry out theduties and responsibilities of the Improved WASH Services.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until December 31, 2022.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist the Technical Manager in overall planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring of the project.
∎ Assist project team by ensuring proper services on fecal sludge management in designated area.
∎ Assist on conducting feasibility survey, design and preparing the estimation of quantities & cost detailed drawings and other necessary documents of FSM interventions.
∎ Assist Project Engineer for cross-checking of hardware construction materials of FSM facilities before installation with specifications, drawing, design quality and quantity.
∎ Assist to maintain up-to-date records of all field level activities to show a status of the work, the status of construction materials, equipment at store and construction site.
∎ Assist to conduct regular monitoring, technical supervision, regular operation & maintenance where needed and provide technical inputs.
∎ Assist to perform project management functions, prepare project cost estimates, specifications and coordinate activities with other external agencies in the target area.
∎ Assist, guide and monitor the volunteers for the smooth functioning of the project.
∎ Support the Project Engineer in preparing monthly progress report(s).
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience on Fecal Sludge Management related sanitation facilities construction.
∎ Professional work experience in fecal sludge management related project implementation, monitoring, operation and reporting.
∎ Proficient knowledge of standard computer software (MS Word,Excel and project management software)
∎ Good communication and networking skills both in Bangla & English.
Salary: Tk. 71235 (Monthly)
